Matthew learned his golf at Durbanville Golf Club aged just seven and although playing several other sports whilst at Fairmont High School, golf remained his passion. He was a key member of Durbanville Golf Club’s victorious team in both the Western Province Premier League and the Bradshaw Cup in 2017. Unfortunately an ongoing injury curtailed his hopes of a full time career as a player. Keen to commit himself to golf, Matthew successfully completed his PGA Diploma, which included a six month stint in the Pro Shop at Durbanville Golf Club. He leapt at the chance to coach when offered the opportunity at Pure Motion Golf Academy. He has quickly settled in with his Junior clients, both beginners and those who are already under way, as well as a growing list of golfers of all ages.
